Well what can you say after a week like that, I could think of a few things but I better not. With 269mm of rain in 5 days the course was never going to escape unscathed, especially with 180mm falling in 24 hours! Wednesday was the first day the crew could access the course and begin the massive clean-up left from the flood waters, which seems to be one of the most damaging in some time. After the initial flooding the water level was kept high for a couple of days from the consistent rain we received post flood and caused several areas around the course to brown off, with the third green having a 1 inch thick silt layer on the front section of the green which will need to be re-turfed. All surfaces have received their first cut and bunkers will be repaired next week
